What Size Shed Do I Need?
The right shed size comes from the equipment you own, the room you need to move around it and the storage you expect to add later.
Measure what you own
Create a rough footprint for large items such as mowers, ATVs, workbenches and shelving.
Add access space
You need room to open doors, walk around equipment and remove one item without unloading the entire building.
Account for growth
If you are already close to the limit on day one, the shed is too small. A modest growth allowance is usually cheaper than replacement.
Verify the product, not the label
Nominal exterior size is not the same as usable interior floor area or clear door opening.
