Best Sheds for Riding Mowers
A riding mower changes the shed equation: door width, ramp approach and maneuvering room matter as much as floor area.
Measure the mower at its widest point
Include the deck and any attachment that will regularly remain installed. Then compare that number with the shed's actual clear door opening, not merely the nominal door size.
Allow room to move
A mower that technically fits can still be miserable to park. Leave space to walk around the machine, reach storage and handle routine maintenance.
Plan for attachments
Baggers, carts, spreaders and seasonal attachments can consume more room than the mower itself. If they live in the shed too, size up.
Treat the ramp and base as part of the purchase
Ground clearance, slope, traction and load capacity all matter. A good shed on a bad approach is still a bad storage solution.
